BYZANTIOC | Iconography Workshop - Pallini Attica

With great love for Byzantine art, enthusiasm, and dedication, the iconography workshop “BYZANTIOC” located in Attica, and more specifically in Pallini, creates and offers portable icons that stand out for their high quality.

Thanks to their long-standing experience in the field, the creators of the iconography workshop can depict any Saint you wish, themes from the collection, as well as reproductions of great and significant works of iconography.

The portable icons of the workshop are entirely handmade, made to order, and are created with attention to even the smallest detail.

For their creation
materials and methods of Byzantine tradition and technique are used. The wood is natural, mainly linden, and in the dimensions you desire.

	The preparation of the painting surface is done on a canvas coated with our construction material (Tsigkos with gesso and rabbit glue), while the painting colors are barrel powders with egg yolk and vinegar (Egg tempera). Optionally, an additional aging (patina) can give a more beautiful and natural finish to the icon.
